Always start with the official instructions and sample tests provided on the examination organizer’s website. EPSO offers example questions for all categories of exercises on its site — alas at a limited quantity that searching for additional resources becomes inevitable.

There is a wide range of training materials available online, including everything from videos and podcasts to sample exercises and full exam simulations.

The only real problem is the quality and representativeness of these materials...

The problem isn't just the scarcity of high-quality free preparation material — it's that even many paid resources (books or subscriptions) may turn out to be outdated or poorly targeted. Make sure to carefully check reviews and user feedback before committing to any option.

Our view? It’s wise to start by significantly improving the core skills tested in psychometric exams — verbal, numerical, and abstract reasoning — and then tailor those skills to match the specific level and style of the EPSO tests. Throughout your preparation, ensure that your planning and practice are done in collaboration with someone who has both the relevant experience and the willingness to share it effectively.
